Hotel Tango Straight Bourbon comes from Hotel Tango Distillery in Indianapolis, Indiana's Fletcher Place neighborhood — the first artisan distillery in the city since Prohibition, founded by combat-disabled veteran Travis Barnes. It's built on a four-grain mash bill of corn, rye, wheat, and barley, aged two years. Expect brown sugar and toasted rye on the nose, with caramel, stone fruit, and vanilla giving way to a warm baking-spice finish. Pour it neat to catch the spice, or build it into an Old Fashioned.

Nose: Honey, cocoa and rich peanut brittle and baking spice on the nose.
TASTE: Honey, baking spice again and some more peanut brittle. Salted caramel, light woodiness and clove for days.
FINISH: Medium finish, full of barrel char, cocoa, honey, praline and a kiss of salted caramel once more.
