Overview

Named for Hiroemon Takeda, a samurai remembered as much for his palate as his sword, this Junmai Ginjo is brewed in Niigata by Taiyo Shuzo, a house making sake since 1635. Goyakumangoku rice is polished to 55%, giving a crisp, dry body with notes of melon, honeysuckle, orange zest, and honey-baked sweet potato. At 15% ABV, it flexes easily: pour it well chilled, serve it over ice, or let it carry a cocktail. Sip something new.
