Hagafen Cellars has crafted wine along Napa Valley's Silverado Trail since 1979, when founder Ernie Weir set out to build a premium California winery from the ground up. The Family Vineyard Red Blend draws on the Weir family's own estate fruit — Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Syrah — aged in barrel to layer in red currant, blackberry, and a whisper of vanilla oak. Velvety tannins carry through a long, structured finish built for the cellar. Pour it with braised short ribs or a sharp aged cheese.
