Named for Nathan "Nearest" Green, the formerly enslaved master distiller who taught Jack Daniel how to make whiskey, this everyday Tennessee whiskey from Uncle Nearest is blended by Victoria Eady Butler, Green's own great-great-granddaughter. Bottled at an approachable 84 proof, it opens with butterscotch, vanilla, and cinnamon, brightened by green apple and lemon zest, then settles into baked apple pastry, black pepper, and orange peel on the palate. Built for versatility, it took home Best Whiskey at the 2025 International Women's Spirits Competition and mixes as easily as it sips neat.
