Giant Texas Gold Label Special Reserve is a straight bourbon whiskey from Giant Texas Distillers, based in Houston's historic Uncle Ben's rice mill building. Built on a mash bill of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley, it's distilled and aged entirely in Texas, resting in American oak barrels that see the state's wide temperature swings for a faster, deeper maturation. Expect potent wood notes layered with vanilla and caramel, finishing rich and well-balanced. Pour it neat or over a single large cube to let those oak and caramel notes open up.
