Foursquare - Probitas White Blended Rum
Probitas is a blended, unfiltered white rum produced by Foursquare Rum Distillery in Saint Philip, Barbados, in collaboration with Hampden Estate in Trelawny, Jamaica. The first direct collaboration in history between distilleries from two different Caribbean islands, Probitas is a game changer in the white rum category. Unaged pot still Jamaican rum from Hampden Estate is blended with an unaged twin column Coffey still rum and a 2-year pot still rum, both produced by Foursquare. Translated from Latin, Probitas means honesty, and accordingly, this rum is produced with adherence to the proposed Barbados Rum GI: without added sugar, flavoring, color, or any other adulterations.

Anchored by Foursquare’s signature warm confection, Hampden’s ester-forward rum makes its presence known, lending high-toned fruit esters from nose to finish. Cascading aromas of tropical fruit and baking spice highlight plantain, mascarpone, and strawberry. The palate is uncategorically robust and luscious, showing grassy, underripe mango, coconut oil, and marzipan with black pepper, allspice, and grilled pineapple on the finish.
