Since 1890, Flor de Caña has aged its rum at the foot of Nicaragua's San Cristóbal volcano, one family overseeing the process for five generations. The Gran Reserva rests seven years in American white oak, emerging mahogany-hued with toasted coconut, vanilla, and fig on the nose, and a palate of honey and dark chocolate that carries into a long, smooth finish.
