Most extra añejo tequilas hit their minimum at three years in oak — Encantadora keeps going, resting its Weber blue agave spirit for a full eight years in American white oak. That patience shows: the nose layers vanilla, cinnamon, praline and cooked agave, while the palate leans into caramel and vanilla before a long, complex finish. Distilled in the Jalisco highlands town of Arandas (NOM 1499). Pour it neat in a warmed glass and give it room to open.
