The label honors founder Ely Callaway, who planted his first vines in 1973 before turning winemaking know-how into a brand named for him. Winemaker Phil Hurst crafts this reserve bottling around lush Bing cherry, dark chocolate, and toasted oak aromas, backed by dark fruit flavors and firm, grippy tannins — a wine built for aging and for the table.
