Elevación's reposado starts life as the brand's 100% Blue Weber agave blanco, distilled in Jalisco, Mexico, then shipped north to rest six months in bourbon barrels at 1693 Distillery's home in Fredericksburg, Texas — the border crossing that earns it "agave spirit" on the label instead of tequila. Bourbon wood brings a rounded, bourbonesque character laced with fruit, oak, and vanilla over the raw agave. Sip it neat to catch the barrel influence, or build a reposado old fashioned for a Hill Country twist on a classic.
