Most blancos skip the barrel entirely, but this one takes a short breather first. El Tequileño rests its Platinum for at least 14 days in American oak, just long enough to round the edges without losing the bright, unaged agave spirit at its core. Made from Highlands Blue Weber agave, twice-distilled in copper pots and cut with spring water from the Tequila Volcano, it leans citrus, mint, anise and a little black pepper. Pour it into a Paloma or a Tommy's margarita.
