Duckhorn Vineyards built The Discussion around a decades-long conversation about blending Napa Valley's best varietal lots into one wine. It's a Bordeaux-style red anchored by Cabernet Sauvignon, rounded out with Merlot and a touch of Malbec, with individual lots aged separately in new French oak for eighteen months before being blended and rested further in neutral barrels.
