Overview

Slow-distilled in County Leitrim with gunpowder tea, Oriental botanicals and fresh Irish citrus. Juniper leads the way in, then grapefruit and tea carry right through the finish, which is why it stands up to more than just tonic.

Excellent Flavor, Less Juniper

"It has a relatively small amount of juniper but a ton of flowery and tea flavor, both in the beginning and towards the end. For the first time, I tried it today both neat and on the rocks. A gin you wouldn't want to mask in a drink. Exceptional value as well."

Unusual, smooth, and easy to drink

"One of the few gins you'll love drinking neat, this gin is delicious and versatile enough to be mixed with other drinks. Try giving this to someone who you think doesn't enjoy gin. The gunpowder tea note is delightful, and it isn't overly juniper-forward. also compulsive."

A gin masterpiece that is intricate and distinct

"Grab a bottle of Gunpowder Irish Gin if you enjoy gin; it is an absolute gem. In my opinion, the best way to drink this gin is straight up, so I did. Nose: Young roots, floral, perfumed, and leafy. It's like if we're in the middle of a flower field right after a morning rain. Taste: Almost no juniper at all, very floral and perfume-like. Very clear liquor that has been through the still. A word about the botanicals: Meadowsweet is the source of the floral notes. The citrus peels and gunpowder tea are infused using vapor infusion, while all of the root botanicals (including meadowsweet) are steeped through the traditional method of steeping. This, in my opinion, contributes to the intricacy and character of the spirit."

Go against the grain

"This gin solidifies my feelings for the other two that I've already fell in love with. Regarding the botanical side, a little creative liberty makes a huge impact. superb work"

Favorite of mine right now! a must try

""I usually don't enjoy gin and soda, but I could drink Gunpowder and Soda all night. One of the greatest gins I've ever had. Smooth, tidy, subtle aromatics; no overpowering pine aroma.""

The ideal fuel is gunpowder.

"This one is for you if you want a little spice in your gin! My favorite gin is by far gunpowder. There is nothing superior to a G&T with gunpowder (and a slice of orange)"

Wonderful, I adore gin and tonics.

"Delicious; I adore gin and tonic, but I like this on the rocks just as much. Nice sweetness to go with the flavor of the botanicals."

So Wonderful

"Oh my goodness Freshly cut grapefruit and a dash of premium tonic should be added to this. Even great when added to gin martinis with a little dry vermouth and olives. YUM!"

Webber (5/5)

It is distinctive because of the botanicals.

"Despite not drinking gin, I now consider this to be one of my favorites. I added a wedge of grapefruit and a dash of Ruby Red grapefruit juice to it. So fluid."

Outstanding; send it to Washington, please!

"At the Shannon Airport, I purchased a bottle. It tastes great when paired with Fever Tree Elderflower Tonic and a piece of red grapefruit."
