Drimia Sahar Red Blend comes from Drimia Winery, a boutique producer in Sussiya, high in Israel's southern Judean Hills at roughly 882 meters elevation. Sahar blends 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot, and 5% Carignan, aged 12 months in oak barrels. Expect blackcurrant and plum fruit layered with tobacco, dark chocolate, and a spicy lift from the Carignan, all held together by firm, structured tannins. A full-bodied Judean Hills red built for the table — pour it alongside braised short ribs or a sharp aged cheese.
