Peat from the Isle of Mull, then a twist most Ledaig fans never see coming: three years finishing in a Diamond Distillery rum cask from Guyana. This independent bottling from Dram Hunters spent eleven years in refill bourbon before that tropical detour, landing at a full-throttle 57.2% cask strength. Expect toasted raisin bread, sea brine and vanilla cream, with peat and pepper arriving late. Non-chill filtered, natural color, just 178 bottles. Pour it neat, add a drop of water, and let it open.
Tasting notes
Buttered and toasted raisin bread, spicy sea brine, citrus, and vanilla cream. The peat hits later on the finish with more brine, burnt rubber, pepper, and vanilla.
