REGIONPetite Sirah is the result ofcooperation between winemaker andgrower who together shaped ayoung vineyard to produce this finewine. This vineyard is located on thecostal-plain close to Gedera not farfrom the town of Rehovot. We havebeen working with the vineyard overthe past few years and fine-tuningthe viticulture every year.WINEMAKINGThe grapes were selectively pickedin mid-September. Duringfermentation the grape cap waspumped over several times a day toincrease the depth of colour and extraction in the gentlest waypossible. On completingfermentation, the wine was pressedout and racked into new French andAmerican barrels where it wasmatured for 12 months.TASTING NOTESPetite Sirah is a dark rich wine, thenose is richly aromatic with notes oflavender, black olives and notes ofold world complexity. The wine iscreamy and velvety on the palate,with soft tannins and a long finish.
