Meet Courvoisier's rule-breaker: a VS cognac base finished in used Kentucky bourbon barrels — a move French regulations won't let them call cognac, so they didn't. Master Blender Patrice Pinet and Master Distiller Benoît DeSutter built it for vanilla, honey, and sweet marmalade up front, with soft smoky leather and orange settling into the finish. Pour it into an Old Fashioned in place of whiskey and see what changes.
