From the highland agave fields of Jalisco, Casa San Matías distills Corazón Extra Añejo the traditional way, then rests it a minimum of three years in American oak — well past the extra añejo minimum. That extended sleep builds real depth: roasted pineapple and vanilla on the nose, giving way to toasted oak, caramel, dried fruit, and a whisper of dark chocolate on the palate. It's a slow-sipping tequila, best poured neat or over a single large rock, ideal for closing out an evening rather than mixing one away.
