Unlike the estate's flagship wine, Hautes Terres leans Merlot-dominant (roughly 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon), hand-picked from the property's clay-limestone soil over Pyrenean gravel. Expect cassis, blackberry, and black cherry fruit layered with spice and oak-driven woodiness, backed by firm, well-structured tannins.
