Château d'Arcins traces its vines to the 14th century, one of the Haut-Médoc's oldest estates, first planted under the Knights Templar and revived with modern cellars in the 1980s. Today the 100-hectare property blends Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grown across gravelly and chalky-clay plots, aged in oak for a full year to build structure. Expect concentrated red fruit with a surprising lift of orange peel, wrapped in a full-bodied, warm finish. Pour it alongside braised short rib or aged Gouda.
