Château Cantenac Brown is a Third Growth from the 1855 classification, grown on gravel-rich vineyards in Cantenac, Margaux. The blend leans heavily Cabernet Sauvignon (roughly 65%, with Merlot and a touch of Cabernet Franc), aged 12-15 months in mostly new French oak that builds its structure without overwhelming the fruit. Expect black cherry, cedar, and cocoa layered over silky tannins. Pour it alongside braised lamb or a rich mushroom risotto and let it open up over an hour.
