Overview

Château Bellefont-Belcier is a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé from Saint-Laurent-des-Combes, on Bordeaux's Right Bank near Château Pavie. The blend leans heavily Merlot (72%), rounded out with Cabernet Franc (17%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (11%) grown across limestone plateau and clay-limestone slope plots. Aging runs 14-18 months in a mix of new and seasoned French oak barrels, yielding a deep garnet-purple wine with floral lift, ripe red berry and licorice notes, polished tannins, and an earthy, mineral finish. Pour it alongside braised short ribs or aged hard cheeses.
