Barolo earns its "king of wines" reputation the slow way, and Ceretto has been chasing that expression since the 1930s, when Riccardo's sons pushed the family toward single-terroir thinking. This one is 100% Nebbiolo drawn from prized Langhe villages like La Morra and Serralunga d'Alba, aged around two years in large oak. Expect cherry and plum layered with tobacco, leather, truffle and dried rose. Decant it, then pour alongside braised short ribs or aged cheese.
