Tipsy Sauce - Caramel Hard Sauce
Auchroisk is a Speyside distillery whose whisky mostly disappears into blends, so single casks like this are how you actually meet it. Twelve years in a first-fill Oloroso sherry barrique — cask 22074024, one of about 309 bottles — at a full 59%. Sherry-soaked raisin and shortbread over bright citrus. A few drops of water open it right up.
