GlenAllachie's 10 Year Cask Strength brings Speyside single malt to full, unfiltered strength — matured across Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry butts, red wine casks, and virgin oak under distiller Billy Walker's watch. Expect a deep chestnut pour with mocha, fig syrup, and toasted hazelnut on the nose, giving way to baking spice, brandied cherry, and toffee on the palate, finishing long on molasses and dark plum. Bottled naturally colored and non-chill filtered. Pour it neat after dinner, or alongside dark chocolate and dried fruit.
Tasting notes
Nose: Rich mocha, heather honey and cinnamon pancakes, with caramelised brown sugar, pears and ginger snaps.
Taste: Dark chocolate, toasted honeycomb and molasses, followed by ripe plums, hazelnuts, ginger and red berries.
