Mil Imperios is made in Tequila, Jalisco from 100% Weber blue agave, aged in a mix of French and American oak, then filtered clear into a cristalino. Flakes of 24-karat edible gold go in before bottling and hang in the liquid. Worth knowing: the US label is approved as a specialty spirit, not as tequila.
