This Chianti Classico Riserva comes from Cantine Da Vinci, a growers' cooperative of 200-plus family vineyards spread across the Tuscan hills near Vinci. Built mainly on Sangiovese, it spends close to three years between French and American oak barrels and bottle before release, rounding out into notes of dark cherry, plum, espresso, and a touch of baking spice.
