Overview

Reposados don't have to be heavy, and Bribón makes that case nicely. Built from 100% blue agave harvested at 7-10 years, then rested six to nine months in toasted American oak, it pours light straw with aromas of caramel, candied papaya, and citrus over green agave. The palate stays soft and easygoing, carrying sweet baking spices, demerara sugar, and a whisper of pipe tobacco. At 40% ABV, it's a relaxed sipper or a smoother-than-usual base for your next margarita.

★ ★ ★ ★ ☆ 4/5 AI Rating

Reviewers on Tastings.com score Bribon Reposado 88/100; Wine Enthusiast and Drinkhacker note caramel, candied papaya, vanilla and pipe tobacco from 6-9 months in toasted American oak. Critics call it whisky-like with sweet-savory depth, though agave can feel overgrown. Solid value rep.
