Made in the heart of Cognac, France, Brenne rewrites what single malt can be. Former ballerina Allison Parc partnered with a family distillery to grow barley on-site, double-distill it in a copper alembic Charentais still (the same kind used for Cognac), then age it in French Limousin oak before a finishing turn in used Cognac casks. The result leans creamy and fruit-forward: banana, tropical fruit, vanilla and crème brûlée. Pour it neat and let the pastry notes unfold.

Nose: Vanilla flowers arrive on the nose first, paired with pear drops and dried mango.
Palate: Brandied cherry and red rope liquorice. More vanilla, a hint of cinnamon spiciness and Nutella.
Finish: Chocolate raisins, pineapple and coconut ice.
