Before clear gin took over, London bottled "yellow gin" — juniper spirit rested in wood. Booth's, distilling since 1740, revives that nearly lost style. A tight four-botanical recipe (juniper, coriander, cassia bark, angelica root) spends about a month in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, picking up a golden tint and quiet notes of dried fruit, grapefruit and soft oak. At 43%, it's rounded enough to sip neat, and it builds a curious, layered gin and tonic.
