Benton-Lane has been coaxing Pinot Noir out of Oregon's Willamette Valley since 1989, when founders Carol and Steve planted their first vines on a 317-acre estate straddling Benton and Lane counties. The estate's mixed sedimentary and volcanic soils give the fruit real range — expect layered red and black cherry, forest floor, and a savory herbal edge with balanced tannins on a medium body. It's a Pinot built for the table: pour it alongside roasted salmon, mushroom risotto, or duck.
