Bat Shlomo Vineyards makes its Farmhouse Cabernet Sauvignon in Zichron Yaakov, Israel, at a boutique winery founded in 2010 on farmland first settled in 1889 under Baron Edmond de Rothschild's vision for reviving the region's wine industry. The Cabernet grows in the Givah vineyard's shallow, rocky limestone, where roots push into bedrock and high-density planting limits yield per vine for deeper concentration. Expect a full-bodied red with dark berry fruit, black pepper, and fig notes, backed by grippy tannins. Decant before serving alongside grilled steak or aged hard cheeses.
