Overview

Hand-crafted in the Cognac region from malted barley and wheat grown in northeastern France, then run through traditional copper alembic stills of the sort normally used for brandy. Maturation in Limousin oak that previously held Sauternes and cognac gives it orange marmalade, dried apricot, and gingerbread on the nose, with soft orchard fruit on the palate.
