Barkan Platinum Cabernet Sauvignon is a single-varietal red from Barkan Winery, one of Israel's largest producers, made entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in the Upper Galilee's Alma and Dalton vineyards. Each year, Barkan's winemakers taste through their barrels and set aside the standout Cabernet Sauvignon lots for an extra 18 months of aging before bottling as Platinum. The result is a rich, elegant red with dark fruit, toasted oak, and firm, structured tannins. Serve around 64°F alongside grilled steak or roast lamb to match its weight.
