Overview

Distilled in Colorado Springs, this 90-proof gin flips the usual pine-forward script. Axe and the Oak builds it on juniper, orange peel, coriander, angelica root, and bergamot root, then skips the chill filtration and any added color or sugar — letting the botanicals speak plainly. Expect a citrus-forward nose of orange, evergreen, and flower giving way to lemon peel, light juniper, and bergamot on the palate. It earned a bronze medal at the 2024 Bartender Spirits Awards. Built for a crisp gin and tonic, but easy enough to sip neat.
