ArteNOM's 1579 comes from Jesús María, the highest-altitude corner of tequila country, where Felipe Camarena distills at the famously inventive El Pandillo. It's 100% blue Weber agave, fermented with collected rainwater and run through small copper pot stills, then aerated before bottling to open it up. Expect a nose of minerality and fresh mint, with spearmint, cut grass, and deeply caramelized agave on a warm, medium-bodied palate. Verified additive-free. Sip it neat to read the altitude, or build a bright, herbal margarita.
