Distilled in 1994 at Appleton Estate in Jamaica's St. Elizabeth parish, this pot-still rum spent 26 years resting in ex-Bourbon barrels before Velier bottled it at natural cask strength for the Hearts Collection — just 3,000 bottles. Expect ripe tropical fruit, orange peel, and a whisper of banana up front, with dry wood, warm spice, and a tart finish underneath. Pour it neat in a small glass and give it a few minutes to open up.
