Overview

Sancerre from Alphonse Mellot's 34-hectare Domaine de La Moussière, farmed organically and biodynamically on south-facing Saint-Doulchard marl over Kimmeridgian limestone. Whole grapes are pressed, then half the Sauvignon Blanc ferments in vat and half in new casks, ageing 7 to 8 months on fine lees.
