Overview

Named for a captured Spanish warship that later sailed with Admiral Rodney's fleet at the 1782 Battle of the Saints, this Saint Lucia rum carries some serious history. Saint Lucia Distillers pulls heavier spirit from the lower sections of their Coffey column still, then rests the blend five to nine years in bourbon and port casks. Expect vanilla, toasted oak, raisins, apricot, and a whisper of cocoa and clove. Pour it neat and let it open up.

★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆ 3/5 AI Rating

Admiral Rodney is a premium St. Lucia rum brand named after the British admiral who captured HMS Princessa, and this expression honors that naval heritage with a well-aged, complex Caribbean rum. Drinkers appreciate its layered profile of dried fruit, vanilla, and subtle spice that speaks to the rich tradition of St. Lucian rum making. It is a quality aged rum with strong appeal to those who enjoy exploring the finer side of the Caribbean rum world.
