Yorkshire isn't the first place you'd expect a single malt, but Spirit of Yorkshire grows its own barley and takes it field-to-bottle at their coastal distillery. This one comes from a single ex-Oloroso hogshead from Jerez, cask #904, one of only a handful the distillery has ever filled. Expect dried fruit, cocoa and spiced treacle over warming oak, with a subtle nuttiness. At 59.2% cask strength, add a splash of water and let it open up.
