When only the best is good enough, you are ready for Yarden Katzrin Red. We are honored to be able to offer you what is arguably the ultimate in Israeli red wine. According to Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, Yarden's Golan Heights Winery (where Katzrin is made) is on most short lists for the title Best Winery in Israel.' And anyone who has tasted this wine has a hard time arguing otherwise. Winemaker Victor Schoenfeld only creates Katzrin in the most exceptional vintages, when the full potential of the vineyards can be expressed. This blend of 94% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6% Merlot exhibits bewitching aromas of stewed black fruits and tobacco leaf, with the melange of flavors ranging from plum to raspberry to earth. Aging in the best oak barrels adds a roundness and one more layer of complexity. Save Yarden Katzrin for festive occasions, pairing it with rich and elegant dishes such as grilled leg of lamb, chateaubriand, or rare roast beaf.
