Tipsy Sauce - Caramel Hard Sauce
Here's a bourbon with a genuinely unusual backstory. Woodson Whiskey's Green & Gold is Charles Woodson's Kentucky bourbon, finished across the country in San Diego using French oak Cabernet barrels from his own Napa Valley winery. That wine-barrel touch shows up right away: a bright front note of Cabernet berries eases into a smooth bourbon middle before a long caramel finish rolls in. Bottled at 80 proof, it's easygoing neat or over a big cube. A fun pour for football-Sunday sipping.
