Grandioso isn't your average rosé — it's barrel-fermented, a rare move for pink wine. Wölffer Estate blends Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, and Gewürztraminer from the Hamptons, then ferments the juice in eight-year-old French barrique and lets it rest five months on the lees, with regular stirring for a creamier texture. The result: bright citrus and wild strawberry up front, creamy yeast notes, and a long, savory, faintly saline finish. Pour it with grilled lobster, smoked salmon, or Peconic Bay scallops.
