Most vodka brands chase neutrality; this one leans into where it's from. Distilled near Kalisz — rye country since Roman times — from 100% Dankowskie golden winter rye, then run through five distillations and twice through Polish birch charcoal. The result reads like a spirit with a hometown: vanilla and rye bread on the nose, soft black pepper and almond on the palate, a clean, round finish. It picked up double gold in San Francisco. Serve it cold and neat, or anchor a proper Moscow Mule.
Tasting notes
ON THE NOSE: A light vanilla sweetness, subtle rye bread & hint of black pepper, well-balanced & rich finish.
ON THE PALATE: A full-bodied, round, lingering taste with hints of almonds, rye bread & elegant touch of white pepper & spice with a long finish.
