Good Enough For Mixing, Though Not Great
"Plain and simply, with the exception of Koval, High West Prairie Bourbon and Double Rye, and Dads Hat Rye, I have never encountered a bourbon north of the Mason Dixon that was excellent enough to drink straight. I enjoy the way the mineralized water makes my mouth feel. Widow Jane is a hype-filled whisky, in my opinion. It has a bad temper and a burnt brown sugar and wood flavor. is flavorful when combined with orange peel, agastura bitters, and sweet vermouth."

This is not your typical Kentucky bourbon.
"What truly distinguishes this from the competition is the water's silky mouthfeel. With those lovely layers of taste that Widow Jane gives, it certainly crosses the 91proof! It's one of my favorites. If you get the chance, I strongly advise you to attempt the 12 or 14-year."

Well worth the money!
"In my area, this gem is a little difficult to come by, so as soon as I saw it, I snatched one up from my neighborhood. Normally, I like rye whiskey, but this thing is fantastic. Its ABV is high enough to provide the burn I like in a fine American whiskey, but it also boasts a variety of delicate, well-balanced flavors. Has the rich cherry/raspberry/vanilla flavor you would anticipate from a whiskey of this color, followed by strong leather and woody notes. Pours a lovely dark almost mahogany color. Overall, a great purchase and a welcome addition to the collection of any whiskey enthusiast!"

Quite warm. Absolutely not a smooth bourbon!
"Due to its poor quality and poor flavor, which is overshadowed by the alcohol's heat, this bourbon is pricey. Despite having a 10 year age claim on the bottle, this bourbon tastes as though it has barely aged at all. It's really challenging to detect subtle flavor differences in this bourbon because it's so spicy. If you want to spend this much money on whiskey, look for anything else for less than $90."

Always a Favorite Standout
"I recently began using WJ10yr after reading a review of it in a motorcycle magazine. I made a call, and they sent it to me! Beautiful balance that is flawless. I've brought it to multiple tastings where friends get together and share their bottles, and it consistently—I mean consistently—stands out."

Extremely deep, mellow bourbon
"I gave this a try last week at my neighborhood. One of the best Bourbons I've had in a while, in my opinion. really intricate, chewy, cherry, caramel, and beautiful wood. There aren't many old Bourbons available at a fair price, but I believe this to be one of them. One who should hang out at the bar's back and only leave when close buddies are there."

The Bourbon I Now Love Most!
"I spotted a 2019 bottle of Widow Jane 10 year while shopping at Tipxy with a friend of mine. I chose to taste it because I recalled reading about it in a piece I had read about bourbons that were supposedly "up and coming. " Oh, boy, am I glad I did. ever-smoothest whiskey! Beginning with a bite, it gradually develops into a smooth, velvety natural vanilla sweetness that makes you eager for the next glass. The best whiskey I've ever tasted for drinking simply tastes clean. Widow Jane 10 year is highly advised! Definitely worth the cost!"

Superior Juice
"Everybody's bar should have Widow Jane on hand for special occasions. The mash bill has a small amount of rye to add some flavor, but it's not overbearing. Due to its age, it has a noticeable oak flavor in addition to vanilla and baking spices. Overall, not too bad."

A new favorite bourbon
"I now use this bourbon exclusively. Beginning sweet, this bourbon has notes of maize, vanilla, and a smidgen of fruit. A little heat appears briefly then immediately disappears. The sip was very enjoyable."

The best whiskey I've ever had
"Like some, I believed that Kentucky was the only place where Bourbon was produced. I had no idea there was a Bourbon in New York! and that it could be so excellent. Despite the price being greater than some, the item is 10 years old, so I was delighted to pay $90 for it."
