On the palate, firm age-worthy tannins are underscored by notes of rich berry flavors, with good natural acidity providing length and freshness. The power of Cabernet Sauvignon complements perfectly the expressions of the Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre in this deliciously hedonistic wine.The 2019 Proprietary Red Wine Legend is 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Syrah, 8% Counoise, and the rest Grenache and Tannat, sourced from Sonoma County. This spicy, textured, herbal (although not green) effort has lots of red and black fruits, medium to full body, ripe tannins, and outstanding length. It’s a character-filled, satisfying red to drink over the coming 7-8 years.
