Overview

Shorashim is Vitkin Winery's roots-deep flagship, bottled only in the estate's finest vintages. Grown in Israel's Mediterranean terroir, the blend leans on old-vine Carignan and Petite Sirah alongside Petit Verdot and Colombard, then rests over two years in new French oak before further time settling in bottle. The result pours dark and brooding, layering black fruit with leather, menthol, and spice into a wine built for the long haul. Pour it beside braised short ribs or aged hard cheese and let it unfurl over a slow dinner. Certified kosher (OK, Chareidim - R’ Anschel).
