Venga Añejo takes pure blue Weber agave and lets it mature in oak barrels, giving the spirit time to shed its youthful bite and transform into a velvety, complex masterpiece.The extended time spent in the wood imparts a beautiful amber hue with brilliant copper flashes, marrying the vibrant sweetness of cooked agave with the elegant, deep tannins of matured oak.
Appearance: A gorgeous crystal amber with shimmering copper undertones in the light.
Nose: Medium oak wood, rich vanilla, and sun-dried raisins, accented by a powerful wave of sweet, slow-cooked agave and a faint whisper of citrus. Palate: Luxuriously smooth and sweet. Distinct flavors of oak wood are beautifully complemented by velvety butter, toasted pecan, rich honey, and a surprising, delicate hint of fresh melon.
