Here's a vermouth with a real backstory: the recipe traces to the Trinchero family's 1890s Piedmont roots, revived in Napa Valley by the same clan whose founder, Mario, once tended bar at the Waldorf Astoria. It's built on French Colombard grapes, fortified with pale dry sherry, and infused with 13 botanicals — Roman artemisia, cinchona bark, juniper, Ceylon cinnamon — cold-macerated for over a month. The result leans bright, floral, and crisp, closer to a dry white wine. Pour it into a martini or a Gibson, or sip it chilled as an aperitif.
