Ingredients:
2 oz bourbon
1 oz fresh lemon juice
1/2 oz simple syrup
4-5 fresh mint leaves
Crushed ice
Mint sprig for garnish
Directions:
1. In a cocktail shaker, muddle the fresh mint leaves with the simple syrup.
2. Add the bourbon and lemon juice to the cocktail shaker and fill with ice.
3. Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds.
4. Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with crushed ice.
